The film tells the story of a man trying to save his sister from a life of crime. When Yusuf was young, his parents separated. His mother took his sister Zeynep and moved to Istanbul. When Yusuf grew up, he followed in his father's footsteps and became a boat captain. He and his closest friend Salih made a living by hunting sponges.
