Three friends from a small town - František, a doctor; Oskar, the director of the local museum; and Robert, a physical education teacher - are faced with an unexpected task. However, the castle's caretaker is the eccentric Evžen, who is happiest when no tourists come to the castle. But when Kudláková from the Heritage Preservation Department puts pressure on Evžen, saying that if he doesn't reach three thousand visitors in two weeks, she will hold a competition for a new caretaker, Evžen agrees to František's proposal and allows the camp to take place.
