Allu Arjun is an Indian actor and entrepreneur who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Born on April 8, 1982, in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, he is the son of film producer Allu Aravind and the grandson of actor Allu Ramalingaiah. After appearing as a child artist in films like *Vijetha* (1985) and making a dancer cameo in *Daddy* (2001), he made his debut as a lead actor in K. Raghavendra Rao's romantic drama *Gangotri* (2003). He subsequently appeared in films including *Aarya* (2004), *Bunny* (2005), *Desamuduru* (2007), and *Parugu* (2008), *Aarya 2* (2009), the ensemble drama *Vedam* (2010), *Julayi* (2012), *Race Gurram* (2014), *S/O Satyamurthy* (2015), the historical epic *Rudhramadevi* (2015), *Sarrainodu* (2016), *Duvvada Jagannadham* (2017), and *Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo* (2020).
